Our dear mother Virginia M. March passed away in her home in Fayetteville, TN on August 22, 2024, at the age of 76. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her.
Virginia was born on January 2, 1948, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Cullen and Alberta Perkins. She graduated from West End High School in 1966 and retired from Sanford where she worked as a machine operator.
At an early age, Virginia professed a hope in Christ and joined Concord Primitive Baptist Church in Howell, TN. The evidence of her love for Christ was apparent in all she did, and she served Him with all her heart. She served on the Mother’s Board, was the church treasurer, the choir president and she held several offices for the Primitive Baptist Church Association.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Tyrone (Jamie) March, Sr. and Tyra (Marcus Fugghett) Taylor; grandchildren: Shaleshea (Dominic Damon) March, Stephanie (Joshua) Conner, Tyrone March, Jr., Alli Taylor, Tyrese March, Tatyana March, Ravyn Stewart and Reagan Stewart; great-grandchildren: Shamiyah Holden and Zorie Damon; brother: Willie (Sandra) Perkins; bonus sons: Ardell Allen, Jr., Tony Parks and Cornell Knott; devoted nieces: Verna “Wobble” Waire and Teresa “Mickey” Smith; devoted friend: Doris Eddins; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
