Teretha Ann Hampton, age 66, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024. She was born in Lincoln County, TN on December 11, 1957, to the late Jack Lay and Lillian Mastin Bowers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Xenophon Ski Bowers Cox.

Mrs. Hampton is survived by one son: Vincent (Olga) Bowers of Amherst, NY; six grandchildren: Vincent Kelso, Adonis Kelso, Joshua Bowers, Kayla Bowers, Jada Bowers and Junior Williams; one sister: Geraldine Howard; two brothers: Nathan Lay and Tommy Lay; one nephew: Derrick Buchanan and two nieces: Debbie Wiley and Shanequa Lay.

Funeral services will be Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Elder Darren Jones officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
