Teresa Lynne Honea Sajpel, age 57, of Ardmore, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 20, 1967, in Lincoln County, TN, to the late George Wayne Honea and Josephine Thompson Honea, who survives. Teresa worked for many years as a caregiver to the elderly, and was a beloved member of Kelly’s Creek Baptist Church in Ardmore, TN.

In addition to her father, Teresa is preceded in death by her grandparents: J.D. Honea, Sr. and Eleanor Honea; and James (Jack) and Aline Thompson.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 33 years: Mike Sajpel; mother: Josephine Honea; sister: Angie (Lewis) Stevenson; niece: Ashley (Rex) Dunn; nephew: Trey Stevenson (Carlee Mills); great nephew: Rudy Dunn; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Cothren officiating. Burial will follow in Carter Hills Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. before the service.
