Tammy Renell Moorehead, age 55, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025. She was born in Franklin County, TN on April 17, 1970, to her father, the late Gene Moorehead and mother, Eula Moorehead, who survives. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by one brother: Bryon Moorehead; grandparents: Robert & Elma Moorehead and Vicie & Buford Watson; two aunts: Vannie (Ray) Melton and Marie Stovall; and two uncles: Charles Watson and Clyde Watson. She was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ.
Tammy was a proud graduate of the class of 1990 from Huntland High School. She lit up every room with her beautiful smile, joyful disposition, and her gentle spirit which was evident by the way she cared and loved her family and friends. Tammy kept everyone laughing with her wit and playful jokes. She was an avid country music lover and a Facebook friend to all. Her personality showed through with her fashion, glam, and hat collection. She had a way of making everyone feel loved and celebrated on their birthdays and special occasions with a sweet homemade card and loving phone call. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor and her love for all who knew her.
In addition to her mother: Eula Moorehead, survivors include one brother: Steve Moorehead; two aunts: Margaret (Davie) Ashley and Carolyn (Doyle) Rogers; special friend: Anita Locker; and a host of special cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Tim Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Elora Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
