Alma Sue Jordan, age 80, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at her residence. She was born on April 23, 1945, in Lincoln County, TN, the daughter of the late Ernest Simms and Bessie Russell Simms. Mrs. Jordan was a former employee of Blue Ridge Shirt Plant and was a member of Fairview Fellowship Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years: Billy Joe Jordan; sister: Martha Frances Whitman; brother: Charles Ernest Simms; niece: Brenda Sue Whitman; nephew: William Ernest ‘Bill’ Smith; great niece: Brandy Smith; and great nephew: Christopher Dewayne Jones.

She is survived by her nieces: Michelle (Anthony) Stacey and Tammy Jones; nephews: Jeff (Sharon) Smith, Scotty (Tammy) Whitman and Larry Sullivan; numerous special great nieces and great nephews; numerous special friends and her church family.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Fairview Fellowship Church with Bro. Sonny Moore, Bro. Eddie Graves and Bro. James Shelton officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Fairview Fellowship Church.
