Rose-Etta DeLong, age 86, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Shaw, MS on October 8, 1938, to the late William C. Box and Janie A. Lynchard Box. She was a homemaker and a member of the Harmony Hill Church of God. She found joy in reading, crafting, and shopping.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Gary Wade DeLong; sister: Rita Philips; and brother: Joe Box.

Survivors include her daughter: Cathy Jo (Glen) Vore of Fayetteville, TN; sons: Jeff (Brandi) DeLong of Ohio, Michael DeLong of Taft, TN and Eric DeLong of California; sister: Sylvia Ahlborn of Fayetteville, TN; four grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Don Hackney and Rev. Ennis Hyman officiating. Burial will follow in Gilley Hill Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The family requests no flowers, please.
