Ronald Wayne Massey, age 79, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Giles County, TN on November 11, 1944, to the late Grady and Decie Thompson Massey. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister: Doris Massey Wallace and one brother: Robert Claude Massey. Mr. Massey was a 1962 graduate of Blanche School. He was a fan of Vanderbilt basketball and enjoyed cooking and watching his children and grandchildren play basketball and softball.

Mr. Massey is survived by his wife of sixty years: Janice Quick Massey of Fayetteville; two daughters: Kim (Joey) Street and Chevonda (Tommy) Page both of Fayetteville; one sister: Betty (Don) Blackburn of Birmingham, AL; three grandchildren: Jessica Kerbo, LaShae (Jacob) Robertson and Timothy (Chelsea) Shelton; five great grandchildren: Ashton Street, Tessa Kerbo, Easton Robertson, Zoey Robertson, and Brylee Shelton and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Kirkland Cemetery with Rev. Billy Langford officiating.
