Rodger Dale Mearse, age 77, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at his residence. He was born on December 27, 1948, in Lincoln County, TN, son of the late Roy Calvin & Lillie Mae Taylor Mearse. He was a carpenter.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sons: Jason Mearse and Brian Mearse.

Survivors include his daughters: Crystal Mearse, Misty Mearse and Sharon Brown; son: Jimmy Mearse; sisters: Effie, Hazel and Joespina; and brothers: Tom and Ricky.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that contributions be made directly to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
