Rachel C. Hampton, age 84, of Fayetteville, TN passed away on May 4, 2026. Rachel was born on March 5, 1942, to the late Clarence and Jewel Dixon.

After graduating from West End High School, she worked at Genesco for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by her granddaughter and four brothers.

She is preceded in death by her daughter and three brothers.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, or the Dementia Society of America.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Mayberry Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville, TN.

Any other arrangements will be handled privately by the family.
