Phyllis Jefferies, age 77, of Fayetteville, TN passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Chattanooga, TN on June 15, 1948, daughter of the late Olen G. & Mary Jewell Hall Bryson. Phyllis enjoyed dancing, reading and crafting.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Reba McGuire; brothers, Biff Bryson and David Bryson; and grandsons, Kevin Nickens and Dillon Jefferies.

Ms. Jefferies is survived by her children: Karen Crocker (Skip), Buddy Jefferies (Diane), and Tammy Williams (David); siblings: Flora Powell, Eileen Meyers, Joy Campbell, Mary Hinson, and Carl Bryson, grandchildren: Cody Williams, Kaleb Nickens, Phylicia Williams, Kacey Nickens, Trevor Williams, and Heath Jefferies; great grandchildren: Alivia Williams, James Williams, Ryker Adams, Brentley Adams, Kayden Williams, Hazel Williams, Kyle Nickens, Kaven Nickens, Kali Nickens, Kamryn Nickens, Katyrae Nickens, Raelynn Jefferies, and Tatum Jefferies; and special caregiver: Cameron Hill.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Sister Carol Lacewell officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. Visitation is Friday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.
