Peggy Bond Hensley, age 92, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, at her residence. She was born in London, England on April 9, 1931, to the late George Stewart and Elizabeth Reese Bond. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son: Dale Robert. Mrs. Hensley worked in Food Service for the Dade County Board of Education and was a member of the Hope Assembly Church.



Mrs. Hensley is survived by her husband of 67 years: George Hensley of Fayetteville; three sons: Paul Wayne (Debbie) Hensley of Waynesville, NC, Glenn Brian (Lori) Hensley of Chesnee, SC and Dale “D.J.” (Sara) Robert, Jr. of Rogersville, AL; ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.



Funeral services will be Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Assembly Church with Pastor Kenny McNatt and Paul Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Shelbyville, TN. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Gallant – Riverview Funeral Home.
