Nancy Sue Whitfield, age 80, of Flintville, TN passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was born in Lee County, AL on December 5, 1945, to the late Emory Hodge & Catherine Victoria Jordan Whaley. Nancy was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband: Charles E. Whitfield; sons: George Patrick Whitfield, James Randle Whitfield and Steven Drew Whitfield; and brother: Jimmy Louis Whaley.

She is survived by her daughter: Elizabeth “Dianne” Whitfield (Shannon) Bostick; grandchildren: Charles Kristopher (Sarah) Carr and Jammi Lee (Zack) Walker; great grandchildren: Kyera Marie Carr, Payton Michael Monks, Troy Ryan Shull, Trevor Lane Shull, Dakotah Franklin Shull and Matthew Jones; and nephews: Mike Whaley and David Whaley.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Jeff Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
