Mary Lee Pitts, age 81, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026. She was born in Lincoln County, TN on June 4, 1944, to the late Oscar Taylor and Fannie Mae McCool Arnold. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Pitts. She was a former employee of Southern Manor and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one daughter: Phyllis Anne (Daryl) Hicklen; one grandson: Jordan Shields; one step-granddaughter: Jessica Hicklen; and two step-great grandchildren: Jlegna Goodwin and Jeremy Travis.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in Lebanon Cemetery with Rev. Tim Smith officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Sleep in Heavenly Peace or Hands of Mercy.
