Mark Anthony Dunnavant, age 58, of Shelbyville, TN, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Alive Hospice. He was born in Bedford County, TN on April 7, 1967, to the late Clyde Dunnavant & Kathleen Locke Jones, who survives. Mr. Dunnavant was a member of First Church of God in Shelbyville, TN.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by stepfather: Tobe Jones; brothers: Danny Dunnavant and Tommy Dunnavant; and sister-in-law: Nina Dunnavant.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Dunnavant is survived by his wife: Erica Perry Dunnavant; daughter: Ellie Thompson; sons: Anthony (Catherine) Dunnavant and Anton (Hailey) Dunnavant; four grandchildren; brother: Doug Dunnavant; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Dunnavant will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Grove Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday night from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made directly to the funeral home on their behalf. No flowers, per the family's wishes.
