Marie Patterson McConnell, age 95, of Taft, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025. She was born in Lincoln County, TN on August 27, 1929, to the late Harvey Lee and Vernie Elma Pirtle Patterson. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Baptist church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Paul McConnell; one daughter: Faye Swinford; one son: Kenneth Bradford; six sisters: Frances Jackson, Eva Kent, Frances Jackson, Debra Weddington, Jessie Tanner and Martha Patterson; and two brother: Joe Patterson and Jerry Patterson.

Survivors include two sisters: Daisy Harrison and Linda Smith; two brothers: Billy Patterson and Bobby Patterson; one granddaughter: Sandra Swinford and one great granddaughter: Asia Ashford-Smith.
