Louise Peoples Jones, age 81, of Hazel Green, AL, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Athens, AL on August 11, 1944, to the late John Thomas & Donna Alene McMunn Peoples. She was a member of the Friendship Stateline Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired machine operator inspector at CF Flag Company in Huntsville, AL. Louise was a loving nanny, mother, aunt, and more. She loved her family deeply and always cared for those around her. Louise missed her husband of over 50 years, and now they are together again.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Clemmie Wayne Jones; sister: Donna Mae Birthstone; brother: Jackie Peoples; and great granddaughter: Avianna Fox.

Survivors include her daughters: Roberta Hill, Denise Jones and Brandy Jones; sons: Harlan Jones and Matthew Jones; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; brother: Charles (Penny) Peoples; and sisters-in-law: Diane Peoples, Katie Jones and Bonnie Newman.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m at Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Clayton Bunn and Bro. Stanley Bagsby officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church.
