Burial Location:

Leona Michelle Jeans of Flintville, TN, was born May 19, 1987, passed to her Heavenly home on March 5, 2026. Leona was 38 years of age when she left her life on this earth. She was a true warrior and fought so very hard for the past few years, but God said it was time to ease her pain and called her home to Him. We rejoice in knowing that she is no longer in pain or suffering, rather singing praises and walking the streets of gold with our loved ones who have gone on before. She is walking alongside her maternal grandparents, Buford Glen Winsett and Beverly Rose (Jeager) Winsett, as well as her paternal grandparents, Bob Jeans and June Marie (Weir) Jeans.
Leona was a loving, caring, and devoted mother to her three children, McKinnley Faith Jeans,16, Brayleigh Grace Southard,12, and Landyn Michael Jeans,11. She fought with everything she had for her babies and never once gave up. Leona was so proud of her kids and will be cheering them on from Heaven until they reunite again one day.
Leona was the loving daughter of Bobby Dwight Jeans and Cheryl Denise (Winsett) Jeans. She was also a loving and devoted sister to Casey Renea Jeans of Morristown, TN. Leona had one nephew, Tyler Addison Gray, 23, and one niece and her husband, Alexia Renea Gray-Fain,22, and Cody Fain, whom she loved dearly and spoiled like crazy.
Leona not only leaves behind the above-mentioned family, but a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. If she were able to speak to each one of us today from Heaven, she'd tell you to make sure you tell those you love and care about how you feel before it's too late, as well as don't hold grudges or harbor anger towards one another. Life is too short for petty stuff. Lastly, Leona would want you to know that she's pain free and healed completely but hopes to one day meet you by the river in Heaven. It's not too late to secure your reservation by asking Jesus into your heart. Please don't put off today, what may be too late tomorrow.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Flintville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Leona Michelle Jeans.
