Leon Patterson, age 88, of Dellrose, TN, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski. He was born on August 29, 1937, in Lincoln County, TN, to the late Woodrow & Alma Lucille Reyer Patterson. Mr. Patterson was an auto mechanic.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Rachel Fay Brown Patterson; sisters: Carlene Patterson, Katie McConnell and Anne Lindsey; brothers: Richard Lee Patterson and Jimmy Patterson; and sister-in-law: Martha Patterson.

He is survived by his sisters: Wanda Carol (Bobby) Dollar of Taft, TN, Dessie Linville of Fayetteville, TN, and Brenda Kay (Billy) Howard of Lewisburg, TN; brother: Donald Ray Patterson of Athens, AL; sister-in-law: Reba Patterson of Dellrose, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Smith officiating. Burial will follow in New Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
