Leon Hayes Parks, Jr., age 75, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Donalson Care Center. He was born in Lincoln County, TN on February 17, 1948, to the late Leon Hayes and Hazelene Freeman Parks. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Elenor Parks and one sister: Gwendolyn Parks. He was a Security Officer for AEDC, a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Church of God.

Mr. Parks is survived by two sons: Tony (Michelle) Parks and Brandon (Brandi) Bass; two sisters: Jewell Dockery and Jean (Joe) Webb; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 23, 2023, at 2 PM at the Church of God on Market Street with Elder Stephen Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 PM until 6 PM at Gallant–Riverview Funeral Home.
