Kenny Ray Smith, age 63, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Lincoln County, TN on May 21, 1961, to the late Roy Lee Smith and Lona Mae Painter. Mr. Smith worked at Jack Daniels Distillery and was a member of the Booneville Church of Christ. He was an avid fan of Alabama Football and Basketball, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Atlanta Braves, and Jeff Gordon Racing.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his step-father: Milton Painter; sisters: Janet Mae Smith and Sherry Ann Long; brother: Danny Ray Smith; and brother-in-law: Larry Long.

Mr. Smith is survived by his brother: Roger (Patsy) Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Joe Wayne McGee officiating. Burial will follow in Booneville Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
