Henry Kenneth “Pal” Cranfill, age 87, of Taft, TN, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Guntersville, AL on September 2, 1937, to the late Leroy Ernest & Lora Lewis Cranfill. Mr. Cranfill was a Veteran of the United States Army, retired from Amana, and was of the Church of Christ faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Glenda Faye King Cranfill; sons: Mitchell (Susan) Cranfill and David Cranfill;grandchildren: Jordie Hosch, Amber Hosch, Michael Cranfill, Chrissy Cranfill, DJ Cranfill and Niki Cranfill; sisters: Peggy (David) Getto, Betty Boguszewski and Mary Windsor.
Mr. Cranfill is survived by his daughters: Tracie (Jeff) Norman and Gayle (Jackie) Swinford; sons: Henry Kenneth “Kenny” (Becky) Cranfill, Jr., Scott (Christy) Cranfill, Mark (Cheryl) Cranfill, Michael Cranfill, Darryl Cranfill and Ronnie Cranfill; grandchildren: Jeffrey Hosch, Jamo Norman, Anniston Norman, Rylann Hosch, William Payton, Jeffery Norman, Gus Norman, Henry KC Cranfill III, Kendall Wade Cranfill, Bristol Megan Cranfill, Paige Cranfill, Carter Hosch, Jaclyn Rose, Paul Cranfill, Andy (Ashley) Cranfill, Jesse Cranfill, Melanie Cranfill, Tiffany Cranfill, Timothy Cranfill, Robbie Cranfill, and Nicole Cranfill; numerous great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; sister: Alma (Edwin) Kennamer; and special friend: Paula Phillips.
Funeral services for Mr. Cranfill will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Lon Ostryzcki officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
