John David Moomaw, age 70, of Flintville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Lincoln Medical Center. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 11, 1954, to the late Clyde (Joe) & Marie Moomaw. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, honorably discharged as a CW3. He also coached high school football in Romulus, Michigan, where he was also a graduate of the class of 1972.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his in-laws: Gabriel & Elizabeth Lada.

Mr. Moomaw is survived by his loving wife, Lynne Moomaw; two sons: David (Candice) Moomaw and their children, Jordan, Ryan, Arianne and Logan; and Michael (Lauryn) Moomaw and their children, David, Caitlyn, Jacob, Elizabeth, Isaac and Thomas; three stepsons: Richard Landskroener and his children, Brittany, Richard Jr., Andrew, Alyssa and Alex; Steven (Jayna) Landskroener and their sons, Gavin and Gabriel; and Dennis (LeAnne) Landskroener and their sons, Wyatt and Dawson; two great grandchildren: Roman and Tianna; siblings: Al (Janet) Moomaw, Mary Vlaz, Lisa Bratcher, and Michael Moomaw; and many loving nieces and nephews.
