Jason Alexander Collins, age 45, of Fayetteville, TN, was born on January 22, 1979 to Barbara and the late Billy Collins of Fayetteville, Tennessee. He was born and raised in Fayetteville, Tennessee and departed this life on January 22, 2024.

Jason was a quiet, loving man, husband, and father. He was educated in the Lincoln County school system. He belonged to Prospect Baptist Church of Fayetteville, TN. He loved music and art; he was a great tattoo artist and piercer. Jason was a family man who loved to get together with family and friends. He not only loved his children, but he also loved his nieces and nephews as his own. His favorite holidays were Fourth of July and Halloween. Jason worked at Goodman Manufacturing for twenty-one years until they closed. He then started a career at Hirotec Manufacturing as a group leader until his health failed him.

Mr. Collins is preceded in death by his father: Billy Collins; grandparents: Harry and Mildred Collins, Felix and Mary Alice George; aunts: Margaret Goolsby, Lucille George and Shelia Shulls; parents-in-law: L.V. and Donna Porter; and brother-in-law: Juan Sledge.


He is survived by his wife: Mary Collins; children: Taylor Collins, ShaMiracle (Christopher) Watson; mother: Barbara Collins; brothers: Johnny (Jeannie) Collins, Jeffrey (Ashlee) Collins, Lamont (Lashona) Carter, Chris (Candice) Carter; brothers-in-law: Timothy Porter, Jeffery Porter; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Homecoming Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
