Jacqueline “Jacque” Denise Jackson, age 67, was a devoted mother and grandmother who passed away on December 11, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born on July 8, 1958, in Fayetteville, Tennessee, to the late Joe Lewis & Lois Jean Hampton. Jacque worked at the Fayetteville Walmart for 17 years, where her straightforward attitude and willingness to help made her a valued coworker. Many shoppers felt like family because of her kindness. She graduated from Central High School in 1976 and was a cheerleader during her school years.
Jacque showed her love by supporting her church family and staying connected with her family, coworkers, and friends. She enjoyed cooking, listening to gospel music, and winning local baking competitions. Jacque also brought people together by organizing family reunions.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Joe Lewis and Lois Jean Hampton; and her brother: Kenny Hampton. Her parents were known for their compassion and strong community ties, and they taught Jacque the importance of kindness and service.
She is survived by her son: Quamae Jackson, his wife Lacey, and her grandson Braxton Jackson, all of Hazel Green, Alabama; her lifelong partner: Gary Fulton of Shelbyville, Tennessee; also survives her, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends; Jacque also leaves behind many bonus children.
Jacque will be deeply missed. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of everyone who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. As we say goodbye to Jacque Jackson, we remember and celebrate her loving life.
