Margie Inez Drake, age 82, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Lincoln County, TN on July 26, 1941, daughter of the late Oscar and Sallie Eddins Hampton. Inez enjoyed cooking, dancing and music.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Lewis Hampton and Oscar Hampton, Jr.

Ms. Drake is survived by her sisters: Joyce (David) Buchanan and Katherine (Jerry) Porter; brothers: Willie Donald (Wilma) Hampton, Cecil Hampton, Lawrence (Narlane) Hampton, Robert (Thelma Jean) Hampton and Sammy (Marilyn) Hampton; and several nieces and nephews.

Homegoing services will be conducted on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with eulogy by Minister Kevin Griffin. Burial will follow in Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m.
