Herman Edmiston, age 84, of Roswell, GA, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born on May 4, 1940, in Lincoln County, TN, son of the late Ralston Edmiston and Pauline Greer Edmiston. He worked at Hayes Albion Foundry in Albion, MI.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Alexander, and grandson, Michael Alexander, and step-son, Marcus Coney.

Mr. Edmiston leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Diretha Edmiston; daughters: Catherine Brown and Toni Rapley; son: Herman Edmiston, Jr.; step-son: Daniel Conley; grandchildren: Chase Edmiston, Andre Edmiston, DaCarla Couvillion, DaLysa Couvillion, Porche Aguilar, Imani Tucker, Marcha Coney, Aniya Coney and Alayah Fox; 16 great grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; and special nieces: Willa Porter and Rev. Regina Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Gallant- Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Regina Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
