Harold Wayne Shelton, age 77, of Flintville, TN, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Ascension St. Thomas West Hospital. He was born in Lincoln County, TN on April 17, 1948, son of the late Oliver and Juell Pitts Shelton. Mr. Shelton was a former employee of Dixie Metal Craft.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald Shelton, Jacky Shelton, Mark Shelton and Dennis Shelton.

Mr. Shelton is survived by his wife of 59 years: Kathy Sue Sims Shelton; daughter: Treva Shelton (Timmy Street); son: Don Shelton (Allison); grandchildren: Faith Shelton, Trey Whitmore (Brittney) and Logan Shelton; great grandsons: Drake Whitmore and Asher Whitmore; sisters: Bennie McGee and Becky Shockley (Ron); brother: Randall Shelton (Gayle); and sisters-in-law: Vonnie Shelton and Maxine Shelton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Don Pierson and Bro. Thumper Pigg officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
