Harold Sikes Phillips, age 92, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Elk River Health & Nursing Center in Ardmore, TN. He was born in Lincoln County, TN on February 17, 1933, to the late Bonnie & Clara Elizabeth Rhoden Phillips. He was the owner of Phillips Heating and Cooling and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Peggy Ann Towry Phillips, sisters: Geraldine Askins and Louise Bryant; brothers: Jack Phillips and Buddy “Hershel” Phillips.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his daughter: Carol Ann McBay; grandchild: Regina McBay Phillips (Justin); sister-in-law: Linda Phillips; step-grandchildren: DeeDee Owens and Dion McBay; numerous step great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Linda Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Elk River Heath and Nursing Center in Ardmore, TN for their loving care.

A private graveside service was held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Kyle Phillips officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
