George Washington Robertson, age 93, of Chapel Hill, TN, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025, at his home. He was born in Bedford County, TN on October 5, 1931, to the late James William and Annie May Harris Robertson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters: Frances Paul and Dovie Robertson; and two brothers: Alfred Robertson and J.C. Robertson.

Mr. Robertson loved to travel and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was retired from Walker Diecasting, was a member of the V.F.W., and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife: Ramona Joan Robertson; three sons: George William “Butch” (Gail) Robertson, Walter Kurt (Peggy) Robertson, and Matthew Daine Robertson (Christy Skinner); grandchildren: Danielle (Brad) Bruer, Lucretia (Cannon) Allen, Jacob (Lashae) Robertson and Rachel (Jordan) Turner; great-grandchildren: M.J. Kimzey (Emmett Nama), Easton Robertson, Anna-Clair Bruer, Colton Allen, Chase Allen and Zoey Robertson.
