Robert Gary Rogers, age 80, of Petersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Donalson Care Center. He was born on April 25, 1945, in Decatur, AL. to the late Joseph Gatlin & Texas Anna Turner Rogers. He was retired from Heil Quaker.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Dallas Chuck Rogers.

Mr. Rogers is survived by his daughter: Joy Denise Honea of Normandy, TN; son: Robert Weldon (Lora) Rogers of Manchester, TN; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters: Peggy Cottingham of Decatur, AL and Glenda Baugher of Hartselle, AL; brother: Billy Rogers of Lansing, MI; and his special companion: Rosemary.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
