Brenda Gail Counts, age 74, of Elora, TN, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Donalson Care Center. She was born on December 19, 1950, daughter of the late Robert “Bob” Eugene & Velma Mae Shelton Marty. Mrs. Counts was raised in the Flintville Community and worked at Flintville Elementary School for 35 years until her retirement.

She is survived by her daughters: Angie (Randall) Stephens of Flintville, TN and Tammy (Jamey) Quick of Elora, TN; grandchildren: Adrianna (Brett) Harris, Alisha (Jake) McNeal, Bailey (Ty) Durham and Colton Quick; great grandchildren: Silas Stephens, Chip Harris, Mack McNeal, Eleanor Harris, Clay McNeal, Piper Durham, Lane McNeal, Miriam Harris and Boone McNeal; sisters: Melody Duffey of Ardmore and Robbie (Kim) Nunley of Meridianville; several nieces and nephews; and special life long friend: Lonnie Counts of Flintville, TN.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Ian Bloxham officiating. Burial will follow in Flintville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
