Fledra Collins Farmer, age 93, passed away on November 4, 2024. She passed peacefully in Brentwood, TN. Born on September 26, 1931 in Flintville TN, she was an alumnus of Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), which further shaped her dedication to learning and teaching throughout her life.

Fledra leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family, survived by her daughter, Melissa Farmer Harned, and son-in-law, Kelly Harned.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Marion Farmer; her parents, Tina and E.C. Collins; her sister, June Collins Landers; and her brother, Ulysses Collins.

Fledra was known for her caring, and fun-loving spirit, qualities that made her a joy to be around. She was the most wonderful mother, and best friend, who was an endless source of love, support and encouragement.

A graveside service for immediate family was held to honor and celebrate Fledra's life on Saturday, November 22, 2024 in Flintville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Williamson County Animal Care or Accent Care Hospice in Nashville TN, causes that were close to her heart. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
