Ernest Ray Davis, age 77, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Donalson Care Center. He was born in Adrian, MI on October 23, 1947, to the late Ernest Downey & Mary Louise Shores Davis. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and was a mail processor at the U.S. Postal Service.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister: Wanda Sue Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by his son: Anthony (Rebecca) Davis; grandchildren: Arieal Davis (Ruel Walker) and Samantha (Joseph) Davis; sisters: Nancy Price and Linda Davis; and brother: Jimmy Davis.

Funeral services for Mr. Davis will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Don Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday night from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
