David Miles Corder, age 31, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026. He was born on August 10, 1994, in Huntsville, Alabama, to Steve & Karen Corder, who survives. He is preceded in death by his grandfather: Arland Beck.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his sister: Leah Corder; brother: Ben Corder; grandparents: Bobby (Tiny) Corder and Norma Beck Sanders; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Our beloved David was a bright light who touched the lives of everyone he knew. He had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and even strangers. Growing up, he spent countless hours helping his grandparents on the farm he loved so dearly. Though life eventually carried him to many faraway places, his heart never truly left the farm.

David had a deep desire to serve his country and proudly enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2014, serving honorably for seven years. During his lifetime, David formed many lifelong friendships with those who stood beside him through both the good times and the difficult ones.

David was also blessed with a beautiful singing voice. He grew up attending Wells Hill church of Christ, where Glen Belcher lovingly mentored him in song leading. No matter where life took him, David was always willing to lead singing whenever there was a need, sharing his love of music and worship with others.

All who knew David will forever miss his loving and generous spirit, his warm smile, and his wonderful sense of humor. He was truly the light of our lives, and his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the Wells Hill Church of Christ with Richard McWilliams officiating. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Wells Hill Church of Christ.
