Bonnie Lorene Davis, age 85, of Petersburg, TN passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Lynchburg Nursing Center. She was born in Bedford County, TN on July 18, 1940, to the late Coy D. & Mary K. Warren Powell. She was a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters: Jewell Phelps, Wanda Fanning and Carolyn Armstrong; and brothers: William Powell and Phillip Powell.

She is survived by her husband: Harold W. Davis; daughter: Bonnie Jane “Janie” (Jim) Sanders; son: Harold Randall “Randy” (Juanita) Davis; grandchildren: Adam (Mary Ann) Davis, Aaron (Heather) Davis, Rachel (Alex) Samuel, Jason (Michelle) Sanders, Jerry (Danielle) Sanders and Jacob Sanders; eight great grandchildren; sister: Viola Sons; and brothers: Harvey Powell and Steve (Flo) Powell.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Lone Oak Church of Christ with Jim Sanders and Randy Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Old Orchard Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday night from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
