Robert Ardelle “Bob” Garner, age 94, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born January 21, 1931, in Franklin County, TN, son of the late Willie Taylor & Sally Ann Champion Garner. He worked as a rural mail carrier and was a member of Park City Baptist Church.

Bob was a devoted Christian whose life was a testimony to his unwavering faith and love for the Lord. He dedicated himself to sharing the Gospel of Christ, illustrating those teachings in his daily actions and interactions with others. Bob's kindness, humility, and compassion reflected his deep relationship with God, and he lived each day with a heart full of gratitude and service. His mission was clear - to bring his family, friends, and anyone he encountered closer to the love and salvation found in Christ. Whether through his words, deeds, or the example he set, Bob's life was a shining light that pointed others to the glory of God.

Bob leaves behind a beautifully woven legacy of love and faith through his family and friends, who continue to embody and carry forward the teachings and values he held clear. The seeds of hope, faith, and love he planted in the hearts of those around him will surely flourish, ensuring that his life continues to shine brightly in the lives he touched.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Earl (Ophelia) Garner, Albert Garner, Alvin Garner, Alfred Garner, Mildred (Tom) Hoosier, Martha Ione “Polly” (Jim) Singleton, Pearl (Tom) Sparks, Mae (Clarence) McBee, Eliene (Jack) Hawkins, Bettie Jo Garner; step-children: Steve Rush, Deborah Barlow; and granddaughter: Shannon Stafford Thompson.

Mr. Garner is survived by his wife: Nancy Garner; son: David (Marsha) Garner; daughters: Jana (Mike) Beddingfield, Deta Horton (Nat Vickery), Lisa (Shane) Adkins, Valarie McCann and Robin (Chris) Bevels; step-daughter: Danita (Tony) Ramsey; grandchildren: Lisa (Gann) Bryan, Amanda Reinhardt, Gabriel (Wendie) Beddingfield, Joshua (Courtney) Beddingfield, Caleb (Ashley) Chapman, Jim (Molly) Adkins, Jessie (Tyler) Phillips, Sydney (David) Knight, Logan McCann and Phallon Lancaster, Wes (Lindsey) Bevels, Branden Bevels and Shelby Bryant, Robert Bevels and Courtney Posey, Rob Barlow, Kyle (Tabitha) Taylor and Austin Ramsey; twenty-eight great grandchildren and one on the way; and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Park City Baptist Church with Rev. Don Russell and Jason Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday night from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Park City Baptist Church.
