Billy Joe Allen, age 75, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. He was born June 21, 1950, in Lincoln County, TN, son of the late Arthur & Wilma Simmons Allen. He was a brick mason who loved fishing, gardening, barbecuing, and playing guitar and music. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister: Bobbie Stevenson; and brother: Roger Allen.

Billy is survived by his wife, Hilda Richardson Allen; daughters: Jennie (Jamie) Dunivan, Kerri Smith, Angela (Dean) Kracke and Tina (Howie) Burrow; son: Barry Joe (Karmen) Allen; grandchildren: Jessica (Aron) Worley, Dillon (Sydney) Dunivan, Colton (Brandy) Smith, Chad (Blake) Rogers, Chase (Anne Marie) Rogers, Matt (Bailey) Kracke, BJ (Jessica) Allen, Chandler Burrow and Courtney Burrow; eighteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; stepdaughter: Anita (Jerry) Hill, stepsons: Doug Richardson, Billy (Missy) Richardson and Timmy (Lea) Richardson; eight step-grandchildren; sisters: Laura Thorpe and Kay (Don) Holder; and brothers: Charles (Debbie) Allen and Dennis (Judy) Allen.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Mayo officiating. Burial will follow in Wright's Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. before the service.
