William “Bill” Anthony Wood, Jr., age 55, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Coffee County, TN on June 24, 1970, son of the late William “Bill” Anthony Wood, Sr. and Tina Crosslin Wood, who survives. Mr. Wood was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, worked as a security officer for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Wood is survived by his wife: Christy Silvey Wood; daughter: Kylee Wood; granddaughter: Avery Wood; stepchildren: Aaron Blaser and Austin Blaser; step-grandchildren: Landon Reavis, Aiden Blaser, Harper Blaser, Rylee Blaser and Raegan Blaser; and brother: Randall “Randy” Lee Wood.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
