Beatrice “Bea” Perry Ashby, age 88, and a resident of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed from this earthly life and entered into her eternal home with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was surrounded by her loving family during this beautiful transition on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
Bea was born in Fayetteville, Tennessee on February 16, 1937 to the late Bernie Perry and Clarice Luna Perry. Bea was baptized at an early age loved the Lord. She loved her church family at Brogan Avenue Baptist Church and attended her church until she became homebound.
Bea embraced life with grace and strength embodying a spicy and zestful spirit. She had fire in her soul and grace in her heart. Bea worked many years as a secretary, where she made many life long friends, until she retired. In addiction to always working hard outside the home, she worked equally hard inside the home raising her four children with the love of her life, husband Gene.
Bea found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. Her passion was working in her yard and growing beautiful flowers where she found much peace and joy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Gene Ashby; and son: Ben Ashby.
Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. To know Bea, was to love her and to be loved by her.
