Barbara Ann Fanning, age 84, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at her home. She was born in Lincoln County, TN on March 27, 1941, to the late Woodrow Readus and Daisy Lee Wilkerson Dubois. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a retired teacher at Flintville Elementary School.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister: Frances Dubois and one brother: Oscar Dubois.

Survivors include her husband: Clarence Fanning; daughter: Felicia Riner; son: David Fanning; five grandchildren: Samantha (Matt) Adams, Sarah Beth (Chris) Eddens, Katelyn (Kyle) Sewall, Greg Riner and Keith Riner; five great grandchildren: Ryker Adams, Brentley Adams, Jeremiah Adams, Kenny Ray Eddens, and Samuel Martin; and sister Martha Stewart.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
