Albert Leroy Varney, age 84, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Lincoln Medical Center. He was born on July 3, 1941, in Pittsfield, ME, son of the late Henry & Ella Mae Luce Varney.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Alfred Varney and Alton Varney.

Survivors include his wife: Clara Varney; one son: Scott Varney; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and three sisters: Glenis Walker, Gloria Raymond and Mary Loureiro.
