Remembering the Life of

Lawrence Holman

March 19, 1931 - September 15, 2023

Lawrence Audwin Holman, age 92, of New Market, AL, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, AL. He was born in Madison County, AL on March 19, 1931 to the late Frank and Bertha Mills Holman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Alice Remona Maynor Holman; son: Jerry Holman; son-in-law: Kenneth Teet; brothers: Leonard Holman and Clarence “Ted” Holman, and grandchildren: Eric Holman and Billy Barron. Mr. Holman was a retired bus driver for the Madison County School System and was a member of the Plevna Holiness Church.

 

Mr. Holman is survived by one daughter: Lisa Teet Walters (Kenneth); three sons: Curtis Holman (Richlyn), Ricky Holman (Terrie) and Terry Holman (Carol); daughter-in-law: Ella Ruth Holman; two sisters: Marie Marrs and Joyce Hereford (Donald); one brother: Ernest Holman; Bonus Children: Ronnie and Kathy Brannon; 26 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 1 PM at Plevna Holiness Church with Rev. Mitchell Holman, Bro. Robby Schrimsher and Bro. Jeremy Reid officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5 PM until 8 PM at Plevna Holiness Church.
